12.為什麼每次拔隱形眼鏡鏡片花好長時間，而且拔下之後眼睛紅紅的？有沒有其他建議方法？ 建議取下鏡片前先將雙手洗淨擦乾，眼睛向前斜上45度角的方向看，先用食指腹將眼中鏡片推至眼下緣，再用食指和中指輕輕將鏡片取出即可。 重複卸除鏡片的過程對角膜產生輕微物理性刺激，眼睛可能因此出現紅眼症狀。建議向眼鏡門市或眼科的視光專業人員諮詢詳細的卸戴方式，如有不適，應立即就醫。
13.什麼是透氧率Dk？什麼是傳氧率(透氧量) Dk/t？ 透氧率是指透氧係數( Oxygen Permeability )，以Dk值來表示。是說明隱形眼鏡鏡片材質能通過多少氧氣量的數值表示。數值愈大，表示氧氣的透過率愈大，角膜的負擔愈輕，眼睛也愈健康。 傳氧率(透氧量)是指傳氧係數 ( Oxygen Transmissibility )，以Dk/t值來表示。是說明真正傳送到眼角膜的氧氣分子量。傳氧率為Dk值除以隱形眼鏡鏡片的厚度t，表示相同的隱形眼鏡材質，會因為不同的鏡片厚度而有不同的傳氧率；鏡片愈薄，則傳送到眼角膜的氧分子量會愈多，眼睛也愈健康。
14.軟式隱形眼鏡的材質分為哪幾種？ 軟式隱形眼鏡的材質有水膠（Hydrogel）、矽橡膠（Silicone Rubber）及矽水膠（Silicone Hydrogel）三種。矽水膠是目前最新也是歐美普遍使用的材質，台灣市場坊間目前多為水膠材質的隱形眼鏡。
15.什麼是矽水膠隱形眼鏡？ 矽水膠隱形眼鏡的出現，是因為水膠的透氧率普遍不高(約Dk/t 20~30之間)，配戴剛開始感覺舒適，但長時間配戴就容易有角膜缺氧及乾澀問題。 矽水膠隱形眼鏡是在水膠成分中加入矽，大幅提高鏡片的透氧率，且具有良好的強韌度。由於矽是高透氧而不含水的原料，也可降低鏡片含水量，減輕鏡片脫水後吸收眼睛表面淚液現象，眼睛較不易感覺乾澀。其高透氧特性，可改善角膜缺氧問題。
16.軟式隱形眼鏡是透氧率高還是含水量高比較好？ 過去常有 ”高含水量 = 高舒適感”的觀念，但其實這適用於剛配戴上的感覺，通常配戴半天，舒適就有可能轉為乾澀疲勞。 舉例水膠鏡片，高含水鏡片的柔軟度和傳氧量的確高於低含水鏡片，配戴隨即感受舒適。但傳氧量(透氧量 Dk/t)對眼睛來說還是不足，所以長時間配戴仍讓角膜處於缺氧狀態，乾澀等不舒服症狀就隨之產生。 另一方面，若配戴者淚水分泌較少或不足，鏡片為保持原有含水量，會吸收眼睛表面的淚液，讓配戴者感覺眼睛更乾澀。水或許能讓眼睛立即感受到水潤舒適，但氧氣才是角膜健康的關鍵。要維持雙眼健康，建議是優先選擇透氧率高的隱形眼鏡(或放大片)，才是對雙眼較好的決定。
17.為何在空調辦公室裡配戴隱形眼鏡特別容易乾澀，該怎麼辦？ 冷氣空調的除濕效果會加速淚液蒸發，再加上多數人盯著電腦螢幕工作，眨眼頻率減少，讓眼球表面淚液不足，眼睛更容易覺得乾澀、疲倦。 舒緩方式除了注意使用隱形眼鏡藥水清潔外，建議可以在附近擺放盆水增加室內濕度、遠離冷氣出風口、每30分鐘休息一會並多眨眼、以溫毛巾熱敷雙眼。若長期感覺眼睛乾澀不適，也不要隨意使用不明成分眼藥水，建議速至眼科檢查以免延誤治療。 需長時間配戴隱形眼鏡者，或環境容易造成眼睛乾澀，建議可配戴高透氧的矽水膠材質隱形眼鏡。
